What are Roger’s credentials?

  • Bachelor of Acupuncture from Brisbane College of Traditional Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (1985).
  • Diploma of Chinese Massotherapy Brisbane College of Traditional Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (1983).
  • As a member of the Acupuncture Association (AACMA), Roger is required to update his clinical knowledge on an annual basis. Workshops attended have included: Cupping, Japanese Acupuncture, Scalp Acupuncture and Sei Tai Massage.

How do I know if I should get acupuncture, massage or a herbal assessment?

When you first meet Roger, he will talk with you about your overall condition. In consultation with you, a plan for treatment will be formulated based on the most appropriate methods required.

Does acupuncture hurt?

The sensation you need to feel with acupuncture treatments is like pain; however, Roger will be able to differentiate it from real pain. Through Roger’s extensive personal experience and experimentation with his own acupuncture technique, he is able to share that knowledge to minimise pain and discomfort.

Is acupuncture the same as dry needling?

Is acupuncture okay during pregnancy?

Yes – Roger is trained to know which points not to use during pregnancy. A thorough history is taken in order to know which points are required in the treatment.

Do you have EFTPOS?

When will I start to feel the benefits of acupuncture or Chinese massage?

This can vary from immediately to the next day or two after the treatment. Roger will talk you through what to expect on your first visit and is always happy to answer your questions.
